This moron I work with. We’re in a semi-professional office environment, for pete’s sake! It wouldn’t be so bad if he cut his toenails more often than once a year and didn’t have big hairy toes. YUCK!

Got to hate cutting the “souls” of your feet.

I have to admit that when I am at my desk I often have my shoes off…ok and sometimes when I walk to the priner. I have a germ-freak coworker that gets so grossed 0ut (not by my cute feet!) from the germs on the floor. It’s just comfy.

oh, what needless shards and burdens our souls (soles) carry! I think I’d worry a bit more about the smithereens in my eye! Glad it missed by a hair (or would it be hare?)

I’m not grossed out by the floor, but I am grossed out by coworkers with their shoes off. I have a “to the printer” walker near me too, and it’s gross, and to me, disrespectful. Put your darn shoes on – if they hurt or something, get some shoes that work for you.

If you aren’t working from home keep your shoes on! It is so gross and unprofessional. You are in an office, not the beach. Plus who knows what is on the floor that could leave a black mark on your souls……………

“disrespectful” A little dramatic I think.
Unprofessional, perhaps. *Considering stopping*…um no, I think I will just do what makes me happy.

I love it. It’s poetry. She should have sold it more hardcore and said a shard of glass did land in her eye – then she could have worn a bedazzled patch.

i don’t wear shoes at work. but that doesn’t mean i’m barefoot. it’s just comfortable, and my ceo even says that you can’t think creatively if your feet are bound. so he’s shoeless too.

The next time you think about how gross and disrespectful Printer-walker is, instead of feeling disgruntled, just go and floss.  Floss and wash your hands.  scrub, scrub, scrub them.  That's better!

I love this, “Some of the glass actually went in my hair.” Hilarious.

And the whole “If I had been turned to the right it would have gone in my actual eye” thing –
it should have a guilt-trip label.

Then she pretended she was only concerned for all the shoeless wanderers. Classic PAN.

I don’t think she particularly cares what happens to anyone else; I think she wants everyone to know what happened to her.

Yuck! Why aren’t they wearing shoes at work? Let them get a shard of glass in their feet and maybe they’ll learn.
