What’s this guy’s problem? I didn’t know that people needed instructions on how to use a urinal.
The best part is the last sentence – especially the way the word “you” is underlined – clearly indicates some deep rooted psychological issues.
If whoever wrote this worked at my company I’d be very very afraid.
Can’t we all just get along and pee in peace?

A Lesson A Day
I “have been informed.” By … leading urinal experts? Kubrick’s films? The Thirteen Years’ War in Prussia?
I just want to know what is informing this landmark in jovial urinal instruction.

“Frankly” with perfect punctuation is by far the best part about this note.

The handle sticking up/down is obviously a problem with the urinal…

Don’t play with it! I’m not a man, so I have to ask — do many of you tend to play with the urinal handle?

@rroseselavy: For hours and hours.

Make the sign of the cross? Is the urinal broken, or possessed?

This is one where less is more – i am dying to know who this person is! Frustrated user? Maintenance Guy? Concerned Observer? Obviously not someone empowered to fix it, hence the note. But the lack of context just leaves the motive, etc. to the imagination.

The giveaway is in the “I’m just not gonna use it”. I think the writer is the woman who cleans. Good on her! lol

Sounds to me like someone who knows the urinal is broken, has complained and been fobbed off. A beautiful note indeed, emphasising well the vagaries of getting something to work properly when it patently doesn’t want to.

The note is just begging for a “That’s what she said.”

alban, i interpreted the note the same way you did and in that context, i thought it was pretty funny.
