Before I realized my mistake, I thought the signature said Attendrix.

I think all passive aggressive notes should be written in passive voice. It just adds to the whole feeling and I love the run-on sentence too but then I imagine the cat probably hasn’t studied much grammar.

I really feel this note was a let down… The writer should have drawn a paw print too for cuteness.

Wow, I should really read the titles of these posts. Took me forever to realize that Hendricks is the cat. Also, not funny. :-(

go to: http://www.weeworld.com and check out mikesmith’s weeme. His quote is: “Passive-Aggressive, without the passive, Asshole.”

Maybe the cleaning fairies will come when summoned by notes such as this, and then the apartment will be cleaned by them?

I feel your pain Hendrix. I’m going to start leaving passive-aggressive notes in the name of small children, pets or inanimate objects (Dear Pigs, If you spill, do I not need to be cleaned? You suck, Maytag Refrigerator II, Esq.)

Naming your cat Hendrix is dumb. But, smart cat to be able to figure out the dry erase board.

Mmmm…delciously passive-agrressive. Telling it like it is.

[but then blaming it on the cat]

Whoops, the “it” I was refering to was the note, not the mess. Just thought I’d clarify.

Oh geez. Our cat, Spike, leaves most of the messes (fur, hairballs, cat foot, poop). If Hendrix is anythign like Spike, he needs to learn how to run the Swiffer and help out a little.

If Spike is leaving his foot places, you’ve got bigger problems than a dirty floor!!

The real question is, “What does the litter box look like?”

Notice how the writer (yeah, I know, Hendrix the cat, very cute ha ha) doesn’t say WHO needs to do the cleaning? It’s safe to say that whoever wrote this is thinking “but not by me”. After all, she already did the most important thing: the announcement on the dry erase board. Dipwit.

Amen, Lana. Of the two hours it takes to clean my apartment thoroughly, 115 minutes are spent cleaning up cat messes. I love them, and I wouldn’t get rid of them, but I don’t think I’m going to replace them when they wear out.

Cats are surprisingly literate these days. I hear they offer courses in feline now for English as a Second Language students.
