I was born in Victoria, BC, and I remember the Athena’s ad very well.
It does have good pizza, though, and this one time I was short a couple bucks and he gave me the pizza anyways.
So order from Athena’s, Victoria! :3

I used to live in Victoria too! I recall being mildly drunk and calling to order some 3 a.m. after bar food and asking the guy, with no malice intended, if that was from some sort of Greek saying? Because, WTF? But he hung up on me. So, I never even got to try their thick juicy donairs. Shame, really.

Hilarious – I too have lived in Victoria much of the time and I remember this warning from at least 15 years ago. Correct me if I’m wrong though, but wasn’t it Cosmos Pizza that also used to or still also has this same packaging with the same warning?

Anyhow, I was always so annoyed by this warning and the fact that the owner is clearly an asshole that I never order from them. I’m reminded to tell other people not to order either, just because of that arsy comment.
