Thank you a girl and Bee! god, can’t this country be progressive about sexuality at all? I’m catholic, and I’m in no way saying let’s have sex without convictions or commitment, but god, this shit shouldn’t be taboo like it is, it just leads to problems. I don’t see any problem with a co-ed bathroom, unless you have a serious pervert or sexual predator. and any issues with hygiene and bathroom abuse are probably dealt with just as readily, because many guys don’t like a shitty bathroom either. and sorry, ace, I appreciate your progressive attitude, but this isn’t hippie shit. We’re not having irresponsible intercourse, we’re not abusing drugs, and most importantly we’re not misguided souls, as most hippies were.

I probably look and sound like a total bitch after that post and this one, but I feel emphatic about this, so all can fuck off, it’s just the internet, you don’t have to read it if you don’t want to. And I’m open to contrasting opinions, I’m just dropping a little knowledge on secondsout who obviously knows nothing about this stuff and shouldn’t have opened his mouth with this common courtesy bullshit because the dorm nor the RA showed him any compassion in the situation, and obviously has zero desire to compensate the men of that floor. which in reality, I wouldn’t think I would deserve anything except a little sympathy, or at least the right to use the fucking bathroom, I mean, we’re all adults, right? My bathroom in my dorm doesn’t have urinals anyways, so why does it fucking matter as long as I shut the door, make sure the seat’s clean, the toilet’s flushed and I’m not being a pervert? Last time I checked, girls’ shit stinks too.

secondsout, my friend, it seems you have never read the housing contract of a dorm. they certainly DO include clauses about explicit, lewd, inappropriate, and indecent behavior outside of your room. People swear all the time in college, and no one would ever get written up for it. but if you had a dick RA, they COULD write you up for swearing excessively. Dorms and universities ALWAYS reserve those sorts of rights and abilities and cover shit like that so they are always right. they’ve been dealing with shitheads for decades, and they know how to close a lot of fucking loopholes, and I’ve bet most campuses have closed all of them. SO, I GUARANTEE there IS something about wanking it in the hallway in the housing contract, though it doesn’t specifically mention wanking it, it mentions being naked and/or lewd. Same with a public indecency law. Which you can get the cops on your ass for in a dorm. I’ve seen a guy get arrested for public indecency in a dorm hallway. That prank was funny, until somebody I knew got dragged off wearing nothing but handcuffs and knee socks. And another thing; I’m a guy who lives in a dorm, and though I know I need more exercise, I’d be pretty pissed if I had to climb stairs just to use a bathroom. I already get pissed if I have to do that, say because the janitor’s in there cleaning it for a day, which is something I just have to deal with. It’s just something you can legitimately expect, to not have to climb a set of stairs to piss, or poop. So, the guy who got stuck with the room on the shitty (or not shitty if you’re a playa) floor where both bathrooms got bogarted by the ladies has a right and a reason to bitch about that, because it sucks. Yes, it still means he’s kind of a little bitch, but he did get fucked over here.

I live in residence, and ALL the bathrooms are co-ed… no one here has a problem with it. But, if there were concerns they could at least leave one bathroom for the guys on the floor. Team let-the-guy-pee ftw!

I don’t blame that guy, I’d be pissed off (no pun intended) too if the men’s bathroom on the floor I lived on got taken away. It was clearly designed to be a guy’s bathroom (I’d bet there are urinals and the whole 9 yards). If they want to make both the restrooms female they shouldn’t have any guys staying on that floor — end of story!

P.S. That Kyle guy sounds like a real douche.

If this were the other way around you can bet the females would be crying to high heaven if THEY could not use the bathroom on the floor where they resided. The girls from NOW would be picketing all over the place. Usual double standard and another example of how colleges are male unfriendly. I have seen situations in which there was just one female in a area with all males (like a military academy) and they would make all the males get out (posting a guard at the door) while she took her sweet time using the facility.

It’s funny. I thought all the Women’s bathrooms in this particular building locked. At least the ones on the other floors do.

I sense a bit of a double standard – I’ve never seen a girl get in trouble for using the boys room on my floor – which I’ve seen happen when they don’t have their keys handy.
