writes coco: “[about a year ago,] while visiting home (charleston — south carolina’s lone bastion of remote liberalism) — i left my ‘is it 2008 yet?’ sticker-adorned car in san francisco’s outer richmond district for friends to babysit. upon my return, my friend presented me with this note, which had been left on my windshield sometime that afternoon. i would expect this in charleston, but in san francisco? i blame the patrons of the golf course my car was parked next to.”
a little bit of shameless gloating

I’ve got to feel sorry for the note author. Must be painful as hell to have no asshole.

People like this never acknowledge that their predictions were wrong. Whoever wrote this must have felt really educated by mentioning inaugarations take place the year following elections, though.
Also, do you think the note writer is talking shit about JFK? I guess it’s probably Edward, but still, it’s open for debate.

Will this guy wait until January 20th to jump off the Golden Gate Bridge, or do us all a favor and get ‘er done today?

What’s wrong with electing Clinton? I consider that our highlight! That’s when I had extra money to throw around, and I certainly haven’t had any since Bush took office. Ugg.
Heh. I really hope the author sees this.

If I were offered $1000 for each IQ point a president had, I’d take Clinton over Dubya and gladly pay the extra taxes!
Choosing Dubya would qualify me for food stamps.

Wait! I am confused! It’s not 2008 yet??? And is he talking about disgusting liberals or is he talking about liberal skin diseases?

Written on a legal pad? No Asshole? It all makes so much sense now…
I can’t relieve myself the hole is gone
I can get crabby now if I don’t get my way
Pooh Pooh them democrats are going down
It’s gonna be a bright bright bright bright sun shiny day
It’s gonna be a bright bright bright bright sun shiny day
Oh yes I can feel it now the hole is gone
I’m filling up with lots of poo now I fear
Where is the relief that I’ve been praying for
That’s gonna be a bright bright bright bright sun shiny day
*Guess we’re just gonna have to put the old girl down.*

I don’t know what they are talking about! Clinton is The Man… I mean, the dude is great at parties, smokes a little of the tweed, he plays the effin SAX, the ladies LOVE him, and he can always be counted on to share a nice cigar!!

A paucity of shame and staggering shortage of brains did not stop George W. Bush so I don’t know why liberals can’t pull it off too…unless it’s a smug sense of superiority and a complete disregard for civility that gives conservatives an advantage.

Schadenfreude my old friend,
I’ve come to talk with you again
‘Cause some douchebag sent me a note
Proving that he’s nothing but a scroat
And the worst thing is, his prediction proved untrue
Oh boo-hoo
The solution I’ve found, to violence….
On cobbled streets I parked my car
Thought Republicans were far
But one dumb enough to lecture me
On my views of lefty destiny
Chose to write a screed that would come to be ridiculed
What a fool
The solution I’ve found, to violence….

Hmm…Liberals have no shame and this is a bad thing?
I suppose the writer is proud that the GOP is filled to the brim with shame!
I mean, who wouldn’t be ashamed when their colleague comes up with a lame excuse like “I just have a wide stance.” , when the cops catch him playing footsie in an airport men’s room?

Hey! Don’t smack-talk the golfers. I play golf and I was hollering in the streets to celebrate last night’s victory.

Haven’t the Liberals been winning every election since 2006? This is the kind of guy who thinks the Democrats lost yesterday, since they didn’t quite get to 60 Senators.
Long Live Conservative Optimism!

As long as we don’t stereotype people, I was glad to see the author was sure that a golfer did it.

Right next to the golf course in the Outer Richmond is Lands’ End, which attracts tons of tourists clinging bitterly to their cameras, legal pads, guns, and religion.

WTF was wrong with Kennedy? Are we talking JFK here? Srsly?
And I’ve lived in the Outer Richmond. A lot of old people there. This really doesn’t surprise me too much. That neighborhood is basically the suburbs.

Ha ha ha!!! You just got owned–here’s a number for you: 349.
Great number. Let me say it again: 349. Let’s compare that to a not-so-great number: 162.
And, yeah, you pedantic bore, but the election’s in 2008.

Well now we know one more reason McCain lost the election: idiots like this guy were waiting until next year to vote.
Yes, the new administration starts in 2009 but the ELECTION is in 2008. It makes no sense to ask “Is it 2009 yet ?” before knowing who would be president.
The question would make sense now but a year ago all anybody was waiting for was the election. Besides, “Is it 2008 yet?” doesn’t necessarily imply that the owner of the sticker is a liberal.

Hilarious. It’s amazing that even now 48 percent of the vote went to the feeble old man and the idiot girl.
It’s also amazing the sheer number of non-voting blacks. What do we have to do to get them interested in the process? It’ll be easier in four years.
In conclusion: I sincerely
