Plus, this whole thread has made me wonder why the money stops at 16 or 18 or whatever--when really, that is when you start to need money the most. None of my relatives send me money for Christmas or birthdays anymore, now that i'm at university and could really, really use it. Sure, £10 or whatever might be more exciting when you're 8 but now it would buy me some food for this week. All I have in the fridge right now is salsa and yogurt, so that tenner would be much appreciated. That IS really sad.
