Here is a little secret most facebookers don’t realize: You DON’T have to friend everyone that requests it. And don’t be offended when you ask me to be your friend when we’ve spoken twice 15 years ago and I don’t want you knowing my personal info. Or, uhm, if you are the parent of a friend I barely speak to, don’t send me a message asking why it’s been six months and I still haven’t accepted. Unless the note is Passive-Aggressive. Then by all means.

As much as I do enjoy being invited to parties that I will mostly likely NOT attend, please stop filling my email box with the crap. Real friends invite their friends out via Real Life.

No, I do not want to guzzle beers for the SNL party you are having just because your favorite boy-band will be lip-synching that evening.

No, I do not want to celebrate your toy poodles birthday.

No, I don’t want to come to your gardening party. (beside the fact that I’ve been known to kill bamboo and cacti, its 30 degrees outside where I am).

As for the birthday party in 6 months – I will be conditioning my hair that evening. Sorry!
