GW,
1) You may need to check with ASCAP or something like it.
I saw a punk group called Truant Catholic Neutrons in the early '80's.
I may have them confused with a choir called Truant Catholic Neuters. Just a letter or two can make such a difference.
DOB >>>>DOA a lifetime's worth of difference

2) Maybe a duo-show with the famous Symbionese Liberation Army hostage and JO's SIL exchanging handslaps/claps and raps?
Pattycake on the Patio
or JO's SIL delivering the lines in a Creole dialect?
Patois on the Patio
If I get a vote, I'm thinking franchise.

Sirius,
Science/Church...yeah, definitely trailing edge in a good century.
But they were hell on wheels for surgery on boys that could sing, no?

Both y'all make me feel young + silly like Kenneth the Page.

I have only played a few roles ending in "...atio." They include Horatio (Hamlet), and a one-man show featuring the musings of Patricia, Jackie Onassis's jealous sister-in-law (Patio).

Currently, I am working on an aria titled, Truant Catholic Neutrons (in B-flat minor).

Yes, you are not wrong, although that can mean more than one thing.

Unless you meant something like surveillance and erosion, in which case you'd be so far off base that you'd be in the Superbowl.

And if you meant intelligatio/erudatio, wait for GW's input, cuz this Homey don't play that...

Am I wrong, or are we witnessing intelligado and erudado here? (Subtlety is so easily lost in electronic communication, I thought I'd better ask to be sure.)

GW,

I remember my 1967 high school chemistry demo of sodium and water.
I'll take your word for the behavior on and then in 194° F. water as well as for the contrast with potassium.

My idea was that if you could indefinitely keep adding neutrons to sodium, then eventually you would change the SG. Maybe if they were truant Catholic neutrons that would be different (cause you can't count on them for Mass).

If as a thought experiment that doesn't make it for some reason, feel encouraged to school me again. Science is almost always fun + useful.

Thanks,
ty

P.S. Fun and useful and, as I think Richard Feynman said, in effect,
"...the business of finding out for sure that we're wrong about something."

I realize that nobody is listening to/reading this thread anymore, but I think it's important to point out a glaring error on the part of Infant Tyrone.

The number of subatomic particles per atom is not a reliable determiner of specific gravity.

Witness potassium, an element similar to sodium, but with a much larger number of neutrons (et al.) and yet a lower specific gravity.

In addition, you need not create some oddball sodium atom to get it to sink in water; you need only to heat the sodium to about 90°C. When you then drop it in 90° water, sure- it’ll sputter, hiss and smoke, but it will also sink.

Seriously; try it!

We never look as good as we think we are going to....bra overhang sees to that!!! I am always saying to myself 'where the hell did that come from'?

So much for working out after age forty. Do I have to stay at the gym 2 hours every night to get rid of that or just cut out every good tasting thing in my pantry?
