I’m interested at all these people suggesting curtains and drapes… This is a door, not a window. It’s hot in Australia and many rental properties are woefully inadequate when it comes to insulation and cooling. Having the door open has been the only option at heaps of places I’ve lived in. However, I’m a guy and generally take the opinion that people don’t want to see me walking around my house naked and that if they do happen to see such a sight then it’s their own fault for invading my personal space by looking into my house.

All this criticism, do you people live in a land where it’s OK to look into someone’s house? It’s not here.

Oh wow ~ I really didn’t expect this to be posted on the website.

As much as I like my housemate, there are times where she gets on my nerves and does some really stupid stuff without thinking. I did tell my housemate to close the darn door but she doesn’t really listen to me – I don’t really get consulted on any decisions that go into the house so I thought I would put this up to prove these constant notes were STUPID (there are more that have been put up) I would put this up on a website she likes to visit.

And no it’s not an animal themed couch!

The exhibitionist in me wants to put that note up outside my house and walk around naked (edit: walk around naked *inside my house*). The realist in me remembers that I live on the main road of a small town in the Bible Belt. It’s times like these that I truly miss living in the middle of nowhere (so I could walk around naked both inside *and* outside my house).
