I don’t know if the lack of misspelled words should decide if it is a fake or not. I mean, the writer probably stewed over the parked car for a while, considering it being a “long weekend.” I bet the note came out of the car being there for longer than expected, giving time to look up the correct spellings.

I’ve studied some French and am by no means capable of decent grammar but I know how to go look up spellings.

Spelling is easy, grammar isn’t.

See, you are still being a twat. This time you don’t even have an excuse. I thought you did not know thatyou made a mistake so was mad that people were pointing and laughing. This time you know that you made a mistake and were offered an olive branch but you can’t let go that you laughed at when you pissed yourself in public. The funny thing is you have singled out glo and CB [aaah! regulars are laughing at me!] even though there were others.

Maybe you need to read my comment…it was directed to Glo, not you (I didn’t single you out as an individual)…but you took it personally, which I could give two shits about.

And if you think the proper response to people “talking” to you in a way you don’t like is name-calling, then you have some work to do.

Lastly, those who could really use a little help with putting things into perspective are usually the last ones to ask for it, so no, I would never think you’d have asked.

PS: Canthz_B is a condescending asshole, but you’ve read the site a long time, so you already knew that. You probably think Robin Williams is Mork from Ork too, huh?

First off, Canthz B, you talked down to me from the moment I posted my first comment….which was the REASON I called you an asshole (ever hear of cause & effect?) Secondly, I didn’t call everyone assholes, only you and Anglophile.

I didn’t talk down to you because you “made a simple mistake”. I talked down to you because 1) you called us all assholes, and 2) you can’t take a joke.
If you can’t see that your hands are not clean in this, then I can’t help you.
I think it’s kind of sad that you’ve read this site for so long and didn’t know that if you make a comment about bad grammar, that comment had better be totally correct, or you’re gonna get some comments about it.
You say you expected it, but still you reacted like a mentally challenged child.

Thank you, oi, for correcting me instead of making patronizing or condescending remarks (save for the twat reference). It is much more civil and less offensive than Anglophile and CanthzB’s way of talking down to someone because they made a simple mistake like 2 snobbish adults speaking to a mentally challenged child.

I think its kind of sad that I’ve been reading this site religiously for about a year, and have always been kind of nervous to post a comment out of fear of someone jumping on me if I make a simple mistake. Then, when I finally did, I see that I was right.

I do have to kind of laugh at myself for making such a mistake, though…
