Actually it’s a terroristic tactic on their part. Not very patriotic after all… The first note while PA was not unreasonable. Noise should be contained to your own apartment after 11pm.

@Laura, thank you for your service. Unfortunately, companies don’t seem to want to hire anyone right now. Unless they are in a low-cost country and can do the work remotely, it seems.

Very cool that his wife “got it”. I have not been in the military, but even coming home from a week overseas, I kind of want the same thing. Leave me alone till I am back to some sense of normal.

If the “terrorist” thing was a joke: eh. They still shouldn’t have been making so much noise. If it wasn’t a joke: f*ck those people. I once told my friend to dump a guy who was in the military because he was cheating on her. Then he told me that I was “anti-American” – because, ya know, people in the military can act like dickheads and get away with it. I told him that I had plenty of friends and the majority of the men in my family that served in the military. They bring honor to their position and do not use it as an excuse for behaving like douchebags.

As much as I want to snark on Lorah’s name (“Lorah”? Really? Plain old “Laura” wasn’t good enough?), it’s probably her parents’ fault.

As for the noisy neighbors, dude, quiet hours are called QUIET HOURS for a reason — and it’s really quite reasonable to expect, you know, QUIET after about 10:00 at night.
