The sign to the left was posted by the boss at an office in Oneonta, New York. (Adds our submitter: “He claims the spelling was autocorrected by Word.”)
Without even getting into the finer points of what might constitute a “hostile work environment,” I think it’s safe to say that encouraging your employees to commit suicide isn’t the best management technique.
(Of course, some managers might disagree.)

Crazy boss? Check.
Who cannot spell? Check.
Cannot admit mistakes? Check.
And likes to intimidate the underlings? Check.
This is not a PA note – it’s an IQ test.
Keep your job or not? The final question.

So only his installation of Word–and his alone–contains an incorrect spelling of ‘intelligent’ in its dictionary. Got it.

I’ll bet he actually typed, “SKILL” but his auto-correct changed it to KILL.
Damn Auto-correct!

The IT Dept or person there should change his Word and Outlook dictionary to print “Edumacated” everytime he tries to type “because” or something more clever than I can currently parse.

And if you’re not “intellegent” enough to know that notes like this get you fired, well… I guess just keep posting them. You’ll get help figuring that out soon enough.

If you aren’t smart enough to get other people to rinse your empties for you, how smart are you, really?

Apparently Mr. Boss Man install AutoIncorrect on his computer by mistake.
Side note: am I the only one that has no idea what “rinse out the empties” means?

My boss knocked out one of my front teeth today.
He quickly explained to me how it was my fault for not catching the hammer tacker that he threw to me from 8 meters away.
I need my job so the boss is always right………$600 for the tooth.

I hate when secretly my computer tries to make me look stupid. Proofread how is that my fault, do you have any idea what it takes to manage third shift at Taco Bell. Besides that I’m to busy thinking up witty comments to post at the dish hole. One last thing the printer in the office is for management use only, the next person who uses it to make me look stupid will be receiving a write up!

I worked for 20 years at a mental health facility. I can’t even begin to tell you what kind of reaction the suicide suggestion would have gotten there.

Oh Geeee
What he meant was he thought autocorrect would catch it. Crazy secret about MS Word, it has a setting that turns off spellcheck for words all in caps. You can fix it, of course, but it means finding the darn option. Luckily, I don’t have to worry about it because my workplace uses Corel Wordperfect (lol). However, I regularly see docs where some shmuck doesn’t realize word is not checking his headings because it’s caps so simple words are butchered.

If they can’t even rinse out their empties, what makes the boss think they could kill themselves competently? Someone’s going to hang themselves by their foot, or lock themselves in the garage with their Prius running.

This is not a boss. This is a bosshole!
(I didn’t make up that term, by the way, but the person who did make it up won’t mind my plagiarizing it.)
