Oh my god I recognize this…

This was in a dorm, in which I spent my freshman year and these girls kept putting up notes on their door claiming their hate for each other. I talked to Caley once and she told me it was all a joke to entertain the people on our floor.

This only reminds me why the 11th floor was so fun

All in all…this is why I’m glad that I never lived in a dorm while I was in college, and instead got a job while still at home and saved up enough to move into an apartment instead.

Good point, actually–the problem is that relatively new dorm-livers haven’t yet learned to treat *just* their room as their ‘home’ in this case–if they’re leaving the building, of course they’ll take their key with them, but ‘just down the hall’, they won’t think to, yet.

Yes, it sounds like grade-school crap. Which makes it perfectly in character for a lot of the local college students here, actually…

Granted, Caley *is* still at least partially at fault here–they make dog-tag chains and key-keepers for just such a purpose, actually…that way even if someone steals your towel and your bathing supplies, you can still get back in your room.

When I lived in dorms the doors locked automatically behind us and were heavy doors that shut on their own so if you stepped into the hallway you had to take a key

I kind of took it all as a joke…when I had 2 roommates we had a dry erase board on the fridge and stuff like this happened a lot even though we were all best friends. We didn’t seriously mean it, but someone would write “You ate my last snickers..You’re not my friend anymore bitch” or something like that. If I were to take a picture and post it on this site, people would think it was serious so I just assumed these were both joking around with each other

Keys are good. There are even little necklace things that allow you to wear them around your neck, perfect for cases like this. Why anyone would leave their room without a key is beyond me.

I feel sorry for Caley, and her roommates are sad sorry excuses for human beings, but really, Caley was a little bit flakey, too.
