Having worked in a kitchen with people who don’t read the ticket, or don’t read all of if, etc., I feel the pain of this author. The server is probably just tired of getting the wrong food (or whatever the problem may be), and decided to take this drastic step. Very amusing.

Honestly, based on employment patterns around here in greasy spoons, diners, and other places that would be serving eggs benedict at noon, if you want the cook to read the special instructions, you’ll need to print them in Spanish.

As someone who both waits tables and likes eggs benedict, if the dish is ready two, three, four minutes before the rest of the table and the cooks stick it under the heat lamp instead of re-firing, you have hard poached awfulness.

Yeah, that’s an “S”… and since at the bottom it says “S3 Seat 3,” I’m going to guess that S3 means “Seat 3″.

Funny tasting is bad enough, but when the meal wants to smoke a cigarette before you eat it, — so frustrating!!

Um, the time has absolutely nothing to do with this ticket. The server could probably care less that his table is ordering breakfast at noon, he’s pissed because the kitchen has already sent out the wrong thing once, or twice, and that why he put in special instructions. Clearly the previous commenters have never worked in the service industry before.
