Several months from now, I’m guessing this exhibit will still be open for viewing under Mark’s desk in Los Angeles.

I hate these whiney, self-involved brown bags.

That’s not funny. Or passive. Or aggressive. That’s just crazy.

I don’t know why those paper bags are complaining about being lonely. There are obviously plenty of other paper bags to keep them company.

I work with somebody like this. He leaves cans all over the office like a trail of bread crumbs in case he should permanently lose his way. He leaves coffee cups with just enough coffee inside to grow mold over the ensuing months that they sit on various desks or file cabinets, as forgotten as his trail of cans. When one day I cleaned it all up, mentioning that it was filthy and that there was no excuse, his underling told me that he was just so brilliant that his mind didn’t have time to contemplate little things like throwing away trash.

Okay, this is an office, right? That means there’s suppose to be janitors to take the trash out. Mark’s suppose to be doing the work he’s paid for, they’re suppose to be doing the work they’re paid for.
Unless Mark is the janitor, then I’m Team Note Writer. But if Mark’s not the janitor, then I’m Team Mark. All that trash is either in the can or around it. Not scattered all over the place. So it should be obvious to the janitors they need to take it out.

This is probably in a really small office that doesn’t have a janitorial staff and every person is responsible for his/her own trash. I’m not saying the person who wrote the notes isn’t annoying, but they’re right about Mark being a slob.

Some people work in special offices (accounting, IT rooms) where janitorial staff isn’t allowed. My accounting dept. sets their waste cans outside their office before going home (and locking the office doors) for the day. They also vacuum the room themselves. IT guys, same thing — the room is secure, and if they want their garbage emptied, the waste cans have to be set outside the IT room.

Yes, Mark is a slob but 3 notes – come on.
If I were Mark I’d start talking and/or writing to the notes; particularly if the suspected writer was nearby. “Oh notes, I’m sorry that I haven’t had time for you…etc.” Hopefully people would decide I’m to crazy to bother with and leave me alone.

Doesn’t it take less effort to simply do the things that are being written down, than to write a note?
I really don’t get some people.

the note on the trash can says it’s supposed to get emptied. Since it’s addressed to Mark and not the janitor I assume he’s supposed to take it out and just isn’t. So, unless Mark IS the janitor… team Note all the way!
