I came into a school in January to replace a teacher who had been on sick leave since November. When I arrived in the classroom there was a dead plant, half-eaten cookies shoved in the drawers, filthy glassware (a science class), filth in the sinks and moldering coffee cups everywhere. I nearly went crazy cleaning the place out because I kept finding worksheets from 2008-2010. Apparently the last three teachers who had that classroom were ALL totally gross and didn’t know how to throw things away.

You should leave a thumbtack on his chair. Then everybody in the office should concede that it could have been them since they’re all just so brilliant that their minds didn’t have time to contemplate little things like watching where they leave their thumbtacks. Or better yet, convince him that he’s so brilliant that he left it on his own chair. Continue to do this until he has a Swiss cheese ass.

the note on the trash can says it’s supposed to get emptied. Since it’s addressed to Mark and not the janitor I assume he’s supposed to take it out and just isn’t. So, unless Mark IS the janitor… team Note all the way!

True, but this is way past “not his job”. It’s filthy. Common courtesy would be to at least push the shit into the trash bin so the janitor can get it out. By the looks of the rest of the office floor, it hasn’t been vacuumed or shampooed in a few decades.

Ah, yes, but it appears to be under his desk. So unless they are office mates, or there is a smell emanating from his office, it’s really none of the note writers business, is it?

Not everywhere. Here in our office, they empty the large cans in the main areas, but in our individual offices, we have to empty them into the larger cans. They say it was done to encourage people to recycle, but really, it was just a way to cut costs. They don’t have to pay the janitors as much :/

Yes, Mark is a slob but 3 notes – come on.
If I were Mark I’d start talking and/or writing to the notes; particularly if the suspected writer was nearby. “Oh notes, I’m sorry that I haven’t had time for you…etc.” Hopefully people would decide I’m to crazy to bother with and leave me alone.
