he’s not going to be arrested for a single pot plant sitting out in front of the building. AT most, it’ll be destroyed. He’d likely not even get a ticket. It doesn’t constitute enough weed to merit much reaction from a legal standpoint. (I’m assuming this was just a regular, lame pot plant, not some lush, overgrown pot plant capable of actually getting someone high if they smoked it.)

He must have been. The logic of “I left my weed outside. Somebody must have thrown it out!” is akin to “I left my wallet containing $1,000 and all my credit cards outside. Somebody must have thrown it out!” Even potheads named Whiteboy can’t be that stupid when sober.

Even if the note doesn’t get him arrested, he seems like the kind of person who would file a police report in an attempt to recover his stolen plant. I’ll look for him on one of those TV shows that highlights the world’s dumbest criminals.
