So the 16yo who wasn’t responsible for the leak cleaned it up! There’s a parenting win right there!

Meanwhile, last week, I opened one of the kitchen cupboards at work to get out my jar of peanut butter, and found the bottom of the jar covered in honey. I cleaned it off the jar, and then opened the cabinet to look for spilled honey, and found that my boss’s ancient can of pineapple had exploded at some point, and the juice had congealed in there. I just closed the cabinet and took my PB back to my desk and tucked it into the drawer.

I did something like this with my mom once. I did laundry while visiting and accidentally brought home the little fabric cover of the couch arm (must have been folding clothes on the couch). I laughed so hard when I found it in my laundry. I took pictures of it and sent a ransom note made out of newspaper clippings.
