Well, now that dog shaming is officially a thing…
…it was really only a matter of time before we moved onto the shaming of non-sentient beings.

Looks like she took a lot more than just two drinks from that Coke Zero.

I haven’t had real sugar in so long that I can’t even tell that diet soda tastes ‘diety’ anymore. That being said, back in my former sugar-filled glory days, Coke Zero was probably my least favorite diet soda.

The look on that dog’s face makes me believe he really did write that note.

Of course he destroyed the Shakespeare. He obviously prefers doggerel.

Love Cherry Coke Zero myself……I know I should give it up….but I also should vacuum.
Poor dog just wanted to enjoy The Bard somehow.

I can’t drink anything carbonated without suffering from instant hiccups, so I’m one of the few people who wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between Coke or Pepsi and I find it fascinating that there are loyal fans in both camps (and now on the Diet side of the battle too, I suppose).
As for the dog, I’d be pretty pissed off too if I were left out of the Shakespeare In The Park festivities. The dog’s facial expression with the “rolled-eye” look doesn’t really match the text in the note, to me. The dog’s face looks like s/he’s trying to play dumb to the accusations, or at least express, “Well duh – what’d you THINK would happen when you left me out of the plans to go to the park?”

OMG, I saw something like this once on cuteoverload (I *think* it was CU, anyway), and people went nuts. A bunch of people thought it was just horrible that someone put a shaming sign (something about the puppy eating his own waste) on the dog and then took his picture. They were genuinely concerned that the dog’s feelings were hurt. Because, of course, he KNEW that he was being publicly shamed. Lord, it was crazy. Actually, those CU commenters are crazy. Unlike here, where everyone is so kind, forgiving, and rational.

That dog’s expression is perfect, I can almost hear him making those guilt-ridden, mournful whiney noises when someone put that sign on him.. “Eeeeh eeeeeeeeh awrrrr?

How was the Coke Zero “hidden” in the Dr. Pepper spot? Didn’t she look at the bottle before she paid for it?
