I know people who were “hipster” in the 90s, though nobody called them that. It’s who they really were, and it was fine.

But when you select an alternate template for how to act, dress, eat, etc, and then declare yourself an “individual” for acting like other people who you find cool, I find it annoying.

Most groups have the superficial hangers on that end up defining the groups. The v-neck tees for the Jersey Shore type, the pseudo-hipsters who listen to exactly what they read is cool/uncool, Juggallos, (and I hate living in a world where I know what the hell a Juggalo is).

It’s easy to hate these superficial losers, no matter what subgroup they cling to in an effort to be themselves.

I note I’m not the first one to notice this, but BrewDog is a very hipster place. I mean, REALLY hipster. All obscurely-named IPAs and herbal cola. Is this some kind of self-referencing super-irony or have they failed to notice their own hipsterosity? Easier to spot someone else’s goatee than your own, I suppose.

He forgot to capitalize the “T” both times. His name should also bear a capital, as it used as a proper noun in this case.

Plus, he forgot a period at the end. Maybe he intended to use an exclamation point instead? Exactly how strong are T1000′s feelings regarding the authenticity of the note? We don’t know.

T1000, if you’re going to mindlessly declare the same thing over and over again, you might as well at least be grammatically correct while you do it.
