    It’s against the law for the seller/retailer to remove the tag, not for the person who bought it.

    You can buy used mattresses at Goodwill, so I think it is just a tag issue.

    It is legal to sell used mattresses, you just have to remove the white “new” tag and instead tag it with a “used” tag (IIRC, they’re either yellow or pink).

    Funny thing, that. We put red lights in our bedroom as decoration for Halloween, so we could keep the house dark and scary while still letting our guests find the bathrooms. I really didn’t want our likely extremely drunk friends to NOT be able to find the bathrooms!

    Shortly therafter, before I had gotten around to replacing the bulbs, I read an article about how light with a red tone helps ease one to sleep as opposed to light with a blue tone (like from a computer screen). Plus the red light allowed enough light to read by without flooding the whole room with light. So we kept them, and years later our bedside lights have red bulbs.

    We tried black bulbs – didn’t have the same effect (blue tone) and was too dim to read by.

    The downside is that every time I take off my clothes to get in bed and flip on the red light, my husband cracks a joke or sings “Roxanne”.

  My first year in college was at a school near my mom’s cousin’s house. When the school year was done, I stored a lot of stuff at his house. During the summer I learned I had flunked out and never went back. My stuff is still at his house. This was back in 2001. Sometimes I feel kind of bad.

  id like to point out that the numark ns-7 dj console that this supposedly ‘broke-ass douchebag’ (as Haggie put it) has is worth over £1000 ill definitely give you $20 for it. hey ill even throw in some instant noodles

  Ahaha pretty funny! I sold my stuff after college and was able to go on vacation! Would recommend it! also check for competitive pricing before doing it!
