Team Lauren. The guy was being a disrespectful guest. The post of this note was passive aggressive… “weird organic milk”… why is the milk “weird”?? It’s not. Your friend is rude.

I have worked at the library I work at for three years. I’ve been going there for 8. It’s 2 big rooms, a bathroom, a boiler room, and a stock room. It ain’t big.

Today I turned around and walked into a pillar. The only pillar in the library. Which is in the middle the room.

Some days are not good for the thinking, especially if I sleep badly.

His conscience led him to get expired gas station milk, And then drink her milk empty again. And then leave the empty in the fridge. He was a dick and got treated as such.

When you’re a guest in someone’s home, especially long-term, and especially when the host is putting you up as a favor, you don’t eat or drink anything unless you’ve been told that it’s for you to enjoy. And you don’t drink or eat the last of anything. And if you do, then you make sure to replace it with the EXACT same thing.

Lauren was completely right to be upset with Jared and to write him this note. It was rude and inconsiderate of him to replace her milk with milk of a completely different quality and past its expiration date. It was even ruder of him to drink the milk again and put the empty carton back in the refrigerator without bothering to buy fresh milk.

I live at home while attending college. Due to health problems, my sister and her husband moved back in with us.
They have claimed the outside fridge for their food. We both pay rent, but my mom is the one who goes to the grocery store (I don’t have time and my sister works long hours.)
I will ask my mom to buy me fruit, and then the next morning it will be gone, despite being in my own fruit bowl.
It really pisses me off, because then she gets mad when I go looking for food in her fridge because she ate all mine and i don’t have money or a car to pick up new things.

I don’t know, I think I would like her PA skills a little better if the ‘hidden’ comment was less obvious, ie if it wasn’t in bold and underlined.

Also, the note doesn’t read that naturally. It’s too obvious that there’s a hidden message.

My inlaws used to do that when they were visiting us. They’d eat all of something in the fridge, which is absolutely fine, they’re short-term guests that are welcome to help themselves. Then they’d replace it with the weird fat-free version they prefer, and leave that for us.

Never made any sense to me. If you’d rather eat that, just buy it and bring it with you, or even ask me to have some on hand. Otherwise, if you’re trying to be nice by replacing what you ate, why wouldn’t you replace it with the same thing? (No weight issues at my house, so I don’t think it was a passive-aggressive commentary!)
