Spotted by Cara at a laundromat in Ucluelet, British Columbia…

It has come to our attention that SOME customers have forgotten their manners at home. Rude behavior such as swearing, raising your voice and SPITTING on our retailers because change was not available to you is unacceptable behavior. We would like to remind our customers that it is their responsibility to bring their own change when doing laundry. We would also like to inform our customers that the Post Office is not allowed to give change. Management.

Oral argument

December 11th, 2008 · 69 Comments

Our defendant, Lee in Austin, was just finishing off a travel-sized toothpaste from a recent business trip when Lee’s roommate — apparently oblivious to this small change in routine — became convinced that Lee was mooching off her tube of Advance White.

“My roommate told my boyfriend that she had left me ‘a note,’ and about a week later he asked me if I had seen it. I had not, because, in fact, I had never touched her damn toothpaste. But now, every time I reach for my toothpaste, I see this.”

Being passive-aggressive - please buy your own

And by the way, adds Lee, “She [said roommate] is currently out of shampoo.”

The most disgusting thing

Says filly in New York: “I think it’s safe the assume the writer is neither a) an English major or b) a feminist.”

The most disgusting thing is a nasty lady!!!! How can you use the bathroom and not clean after yourself!!!! Be hygenical [sic] and consider others!!!! Do yourself and the rest of us a favor. Clean up after yourself, you are not at home!!!!!!!!

There are only 10 types of people in the world…those who remember to bathe regularly, and those who don’t.

Neumont is a strictly computer-science college located on the second and third floors of an office building,” writes Jared in South Jordan, Utah. It’s therefore a point of pride for Neumonters that out of several hundred CS students, “there are [only] a few who seem to forget to shower for a few weeks at a time.”

Thanks to all Neumont U folks who were kind enough to shower and wash their hair today it made the elevator ride so great. Oh Except that one Guy who's hair has never been washed.

Clarifying motion #2

After a minor breakout, Matt in Toronto “borrowed” his roommate’s Clinique cleanser…and then forgot to put it back where he found it. His (admirably direct) roommate asked if he’d mind not using her Clinique products again in the future, seeing as it was, you know, pretty expensive and not that big of a container. “No problem,” Matt said. Crisis averted!

That is, until last week, when Matt ran out of his own face wash. Instead, he used his roommate’s (again) and then forgot to put it back where he found it (again). The next day, when Matt went to use her cleanser again (after forgetting to stop at the store to buy his own) he found this little Clinique bonus.

I'm sorry Matt, I can't afford for both of us to use my face products. Thx.

Matt’s mea culpa, such as it is: “I shouldn’t have been using her products in the first place, especially after she asked me the first time. I’ll just make sure I never run out of anything ever again!”

Writes our anonymous submitter from Canada: “I lived with these girls for a year, but about six to eight months in things started to get a little strange.”

If our submitter had any doubts about how her roommates felt about her, however, the to-do lists that appeared on the fridge the weekend she was moving out of her basement room cleared things right up. (The verdict? Way harsh, Tai!)

grotsky little byotch

what a way to say goodbye

Adds our submitter: “I don’t miss them.”
