Yes, they are yummy. Take root beer (A&W is hard to beat), fill a glass 1/2 full and carefully add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Mmmmm. If you blend the two, it’s called a black cow.

Thanks, glo. I was going to go as a spider (stuffed stocking legs), or a flowerpot (flower pots on the wrists – plastic ones with the bottom cut out) – but I walked into the 100 yen store (about a dollar) – saw all the autumn decorations and thought of being autumn. at home you just wouldn’t find those kinds of plastic bits and bobs anywhere, so it was easier to make a costume here. Plus, I had to teach in it, so it couldn’t be too cumbersome. Until last night I thought I was going to be super lame. When I get around to it, I’ll put pics up of the others.

The last cool snap (I don’t think it even iced, well, maybe a little) has started it spreading. I will have to get that taken care of now.

Well, sis, I need to get ready for work.

Well, I’d better get off my rump and get this week started.
I hate going to work, but I’m happy to have a job!

♥ CIF’s, make it a good day…no matter how many you have to kill.

3 quarters, Beans? My Mets can lead the NL East for 3 months and still find a way to miss the playoffs!
Ah, the thrills and chills of being a sports fan! :-)

I’m playing with my Safari browser… it’s way faster than both IE and Firefox.
    I may stick with it.
Only thing is, HULU won’t accept my password when I use Safari.
Otherwise, it’s a nice interface, check out downloading Safari for (what? PC?) if you get a chance.
    Pages open really fast!!

    heroooooo?
just dropping in to say *waves frantically with manic expression* HIIIII!!!
went salsa dancing last night. i’ve never been before, but it was soooo fun!

CB, i feel that way about the Bills. I mean, you guys have it together enough to keep the lead for the first three quarters, but then you toss it away like a used cond used fast food wrapper.

But the Yankees are in the World Series!

    Good morning boys and girls!

The Chiefs got their asses kicked.
Seems after last week’s win someone told the defense about the first draft choice rules.

No team can really suck this bad, so I hold on to the belief that there is a long-term strategy at work.
That or we just suck. :-|

You’ve got a cleaning lady, glo? We had a lot of rain today, but good weather for the school festival on the weekend.

Well, I can see you all lurking out there *sigh*. Hey! There you are ♥ I’ve got a Hallowe’en costume, too. We are doing it to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. I’ve never dressed up before for Hallowe’en. It will be a lunchtime parade tomorrow. You’ve got to log in to see those. But not this one. If you like it, please vote ;) Twiddles thumbs.

Charlie (and others who have trouble logging in): I have found I sometimes have to refresh the page after I log in to get it to recognize me.

Well, I upgraded the bathroom from “Oh, that’s ok, it’s only a 5-hour drive home, I’ll just wait ’til then” to “Clean enough to let the cleaning lady see it.”

And I had one day of sort of sunshine, and we’re back to cold and rainy.
