Pretty right on the horoscope thing. I don’t think I want to know mine, I may regret it!

  • #47299  unholyghost2003 on May 5, 2008 at 10:32 am

CB, I have actually done that. Then I washed my wallet on purpose.

  • #47298  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 10:31 am

    Mishee ♥

You are taking away my only saying in life. It is

what I value the most kinda anyway “I regret

    NOTHING!”

I will share since you are in need of “No

Regrets” It is a good attitude let me tell ya’….. ♥

  • #47297  Mishee on May 5, 2008 at 10:30 am

CB, I sent your profile to you, but here’s the first part of it:

(for being born at 6pm, in Orange, NJ - tell me if it’s somewhere else you were actually born, I wasn’t sure!!!)

These astrological positions indicate a clever and shrewd personality. You tend to be aggressive and are often downright blasphemous. When crossed you wreak revenge in full measure. You relish displaying your wit and knowledge and make a point of telling others of your various successes and victories. These shows of your achievement, however, are to your detriment because they earn you the ill will of others. You lean toward the darker sides of life, and your imagination can be morbid. You are fascinated by the mysterious, malignant forces in the universe. A nocturnal individual, your thoughts often turn to death, finalities, and the mysteries of life after death.

The key to a more harmonious self lies in developing optimism and recognizing the good that exists in the world.

There’s more, but I don’t wanna hog all the post space!! lol

(post edit) - OMG, I just actually READ it!!! Sounds SPOT ON to me!!! LMAO!

    fantasy - here

I promise it’s not like the last link I supplied on the main thread!! I only do that once or twice a week!! :D

  • #47284  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 10:04 am

    What is TBIM?

    Goodmorning agin Mishee. :D

I give up I think I am off to bed!

  • #47283  unholyghost2003 on May 5, 2008 at 10:04 am

Fantasy, yup. Well, this batch was my folks’ first batch of beer and we were helping them. But yeah, we like to brew our own beer. My understanding is that it takes longer than wine (I have never done wine) but it is still a lot of fun. Though start stock piling HUGE bottles with the Grolsch style tops now, makes life so much easier if you don’t have a keg.

  • #47282  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 10:04 am

More for you Fan. Both made me laugh.

CB ♥ , good luck with the final result from those resumes!

    Shutting down computer…

  • #47281  Mishee on May 5, 2008 at 10:03 am

Hey guys, here I am, once again shackled to my desk… ugh… TBIM

Hey CB, ugh, glo, fantasy, and anyone else lurking/wandering around….

glo, I agree, my personal portrait was actually really dead on - the good things and the bad!

  • #47280  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 10:00 am

    Ghosty, are you making beer?

Mr. fantasy wants to do that, but for now he just makes wine.

Good day for you CB! ♥

  • #47279  Canthz_B on May 5, 2008 at 9:56 am

Sounds good enough to me, ‘Glo.
    Hey, Uhg.
    Bye, rose.

Gotta send some resumes. I’ll be around. :-)

  • #47278  unholyghost2003 on May 5, 2008 at 9:56 am

Yup, had fun with friends, spend Sat snuggly in bed, sun was spent bottling beer and today baby-princess goes to the vet.

    Hi ‘glo and Ghosty ♥

also rose who is not here! ♥

You did a good thing Rose, you got Richard Simmons out of the closet! He is right out there on the Main! Wow!

I know there is a good comment there but maybe too crude?

  • #47275  unholyghost2003 on May 5, 2008 at 9:50 am

A happy monday to you CB.

  • #47274  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 9:50 am

Oh Lord, I’m a terrible lurker! Not when you live in Japan, ‘glo, where taking a bath is an artform.

Well darling, I’m a big fan of the Sagittarius, being one - and as you’ve got the moon, you are one almost through and through I would say, but the water sign of Pisces might restrict your more impuslive feelings and emotions - However, it is probably also your deeply creative side.

My moon is in Pisces , but I have an Aries rising. I should have taken over the world by now, but the Pisces influence is pretty strong! :)

If you want to go to astrolgers I like, there is
this one and this one .

Waving hello and goodbye to (((UHG))), and (((CB))).

  • #47273  anglophile on May 5, 2008 at 9:50 am

Would Shituation Normal All Fucked Up be a good thing, then? :?

Did you have a good weekend, UHG?

G’morning advocacy kids, what’s the shituation today?

    Hey Hey Hey Glo!

  • #47270  anglophile on May 5, 2008 at 9:38 am

Good morning Mishee and Ghostee! ♥

  • #47269  anglophile on May 5, 2008 at 9:37 am

Sorry, rose, I was in the shower. It is a melancholy fact, against which the feminist in me rebels, that showers take longer when you are seeing someone than when you are single.

Here’s my personal portrait, it is actually the most accurate horoscope I’ve ever run up against, but it’s not perfect:

This astrological combination yields an exploratory, independent individual who cannot endure any kind of restriction. Everything about you is free and spontaneous. You are outspoken in asserting yourself and your opinions, often turning argumentative. Your imagination is easily stimulated, and your enthusiasm is lighted and extinguished most rapidly. Because your interests are fitful and wide-ranging, you are in danger of remaining only a superficial dabbler in many projects. In love you show yourself to be generous, with warm, intuitive feelings. You consciously aim to acquire wisdom, and you are eager to disseminate the knowledge you have assimilated. The key to a more harmonious self lies in cultivating fixity of purpose and a degree of restraint. You constantly veer toward carelessness and improvidence, but by devoting more thought to others, you will be able to curb these tendencies in regard to yourself, as well.

Moon in Sagittarius, Pisces ascending, rose.

  • #47268  unholyghost2003 on May 5, 2008 at 9:37 am

    morning all!

  • #47267  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 9:36 am

Dunno, Fantasy, the monks who make mandalas are mostly men, as their name suggests ;)
not here, not here, not here

  • #47266  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 9:35 am

Hey Claw, nice wig. Work on that song on the main, wouldja?

Glo is either caught in her ascendant or jumping through the shower.

    *reactivates lurking*

  • #47265  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 9:33 am

Joe on the main is another pattern person, very unusual in men I would think?

  • #47264  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 9:31 am

    hahahaha Mishee

I see him but I thought he would look totally different! I knew the “Python” was really a “Nightcrawler!”

  • #47263  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 9:28 am

No you didn’t imagine!!! He is right there! Do you think he is lurking? haha

Got a little confused for a bit! hahaha

I best go to bed. ♥

  • #47262  Mishee on May 5, 2008 at 9:26 am

    OMG, he looks just like I imagined… I think…

Although I see nothing resembling a python in that picture! :D

I think he actually lurks alot… whenever we need to talk to him, he usually shows up within a few minutes.. he’s like Beetlejuice!

    claw.. claw.. claw!!

I gotta shut down and head to work. Be back in about 30 min.

  • #47261  Mishee on May 5, 2008 at 9:23 am

yeah fantasy, the rain doesn’t really stop you people up there, otherwise you would be holed up inside for 8-9 months out of the year!

yeah, you NWerners love to do the camping, fishing, hiking thing…

down here everyone is just too damn busy!

  • #47260  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 9:23 am

I am going, but Claw has an avatar  LOL

  • #47259  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 9:21 am

Hey Mish, well your rising sign (that’s the ascendant) and moon sign are also influential, if you want to read more. The Aries is probably the rambunctious part of your nature :D

  • #47258  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 9:20 am

    Goodnight Rose ♥

  • #47257  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 9:18 am

So Mishee I really do not know what people that have sunshine everyday do? I have lived in Oregon my whole life! I bet they have just a little more fun.

You know it is funny that Oregon came in the top five I think it was for the most active in outdoor activities! We just wear raincoats! :P

  • #47256  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 9:17 am

Fantasy, with those you probably don’t need morphine *heh-heh-heh* Night all, again.

  • #47255  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 9:16 am

The ribald confessions of ninety-year-old- like knitters and quilters,

My mother, sister and I cobbled together a bunch of knitted squares, and even got so far as purling, one year. If we had ever finished, we were going to call it a blanket

And with that, I will leave you ladies. Have a wonderful day ♥

  • #47254  Mishee on May 5, 2008 at 9:15 am

    LOL on the closet fantasy.

I love it, but I also did really well would they would do those tests at school where they give you a bunch of little shapes and a picture of them put together and you have to recreate it. I realized after I started doing it, that quilting is just like those!

I haven’t done it in about a year since I have NO room to do so here in my own “closet of disappointment”… heheh

Rose - I did it too cause I’ve always been curious… here is a copy/paster:

The report was generated with the following birth data: female, born on 26 December 1979 at 4:42 am in Mountain View (Santa Clara C.), California.

Your sun sign is Capricorn. This is the sign in which the Sun is in your birth chart. Your Ascendant is in Scorpio, and your Moon is in Aries.

  • #47253  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 9:13 am

Mishee, I used to quilt too. I got burned out on that pretty fast. I love the colors, and patterns. Just don’t like to quilt. :( That was an expensive little bit’o fun!

I still have all my material and stuff for quilting in my “Closet of disappointment”! ;)

  • #47252  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 9:12 am

Hey Glo, I should have directed you here and to the personal portrait, or free horoscope link, or whatever it is…

  • #47251  Mishee on May 5, 2008 at 9:08 am

fantasy, does it surprise you that I didn’t start quilting until I moved to the Northwest? I came to the conclusion that everyone up there MUST have an indoor hobby, since you are stuck inside for about 8-9 months out of the year!! :D

nothing is quite as scary as trying to drive in the springtime up there, cause as soon as the rain stops, people are EVERYWHERE! walking, biking (alot of fucking bikers!!), with dogs or babies, jogging, skateboarding, etc. It’s fucking insane!

  • #47250  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 9:08 am

Thats an idea Rose, they grow in our back field, but I have never tried those, just a few other things oops wrong site!

Do those mix well with morphine?

  • #47249  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 9:05 am

    Hi Mishee ♥

All Right, another pattern lover.

  • #47248  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 9:05 am

People are purple, fantasy, if you just loosen your mind and try some of those ’shrooms Crash is talking about on the main thread.

  • #47247  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 9:04 am

I am sore today because I went for a tiny walk and then went to the store yesterday!

I feel as worthless as a ninety year old woman today, but decided just to sit back and let it go for now, I will be plenty busy again soon.

I fix my mistakes in a very bad way when knitting. If they are too far back I will set it aside for later and more than likely not look at it again! :(

I still have a sweater I knitted for my daughter and she outgrew it before I finished. Is this “True Confession’s?” excuse me I think I am on the wrong site.

  • #47246  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 9:04 am

Hey Mishee :) I think she did.

Glo, I would be unsurprised to find that you have a Virgo or Capricorn rising or moon…

You can find out by going here

  • #47245  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:59 am

Oh, fantasy, you have to put the cursor over the picture and press control plus ‘c’ - hope I’m not being too obvious, and there might even be a better way…

  • #47244  anglophile on May 5, 2008 at 8:58 am

Hope you are feeling ok, fantasy?

Oh, and speaking of knitting, many knitters I know like to incorporate the concept of wabi-sabi into their knitting, rose, as a way of letting mistakes remain. Not me, though. I have a very difficult time not fixing errors. I don’t know where that streak of perfectionism comes from.

  • #47243  Mishee on May 5, 2008 at 8:57 am

*punches in for the day* Ugh… Monday… :(

glo, I’m with you on the random shit… but I guess knitting and quilting go together then, cause I would’ve done the same as you said you would! Patterns rock!

    Good morning kiddos…

I wonder if ZB ever got all the way through Anthony Grosso….

  • #47242  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:57 am

I think knitters are all a little OCD when it comes to colors. I can barely let the grandkids choose there own colors when they draw! heehee Just kidding, we all know that people can be purple if you let them! I guess the kids are good for me if they let me loosen up on things like that!

  • #47241  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:57 am

Yes, I loved my nan far more than my mother loved her mother ♥

Morning conversation with the motorcycle, ‘glo? Very good, very good.

There was a lot of reading, but I have a downtime that most of you do not.

I thought that maybe there was a pattern, ‘glo… and if there had been you would have been the one to find it.

  • #47240  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:52 am

    Hi ‘glo ♥

Hahahaha, on the coloring random, I like that, every knitter wants a pattern! heehee

  • #47239  anglophile on May 5, 2008 at 8:50 am

    ((((rosie)))) ((((fantasy))))

    Good evening/morning, my sweets!

That was a lot of backreading! And many links to follow. I have been up over an hour, I could have just seen Wade if I had come straight here instead of talking with the motorcycle, reading my e-mails, and catching up on blogs. :P

If I had made these signs, rose, I definitely would have colored them in a strict pattern. None of this random shit for me!

  • #47238  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:50 am

Thanks for your help on the picture thing! I was at a loss. That was why I wanted to change blogs. The other one would only allow one picture per post!

  • #47237  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:48 am

Having grandkids is the BEST! You can send them home after feeding them full of junk and spoiling them rotten! I see 2 of my grandkids almost everyday, 2 more live in Eugene, Or. and I see them some. 3 more live in Hawaii and I have not seen them in 4 years. :(

  • #47236  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:44 am

Damn, fantasy, that is frustrating. Anyway, that is one way you can get images from the net.

Now, tell me, what’s it like to have grandkids? Do they visit often? Do you feel very close to them?

  • #47235  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:42 am

I am so slow,in the morning! sometimes in the afternoon, and by evening, well you know it gets late and then I am slow too!

  • #47234  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:39 am

I did have most of my pictures organized, then my Brother in Law touched my computer and I am no longer organized. I don’t know what he did but I no longer have my pictures in files under pictures. They are all mixed under recent changes and other document files. I just reall don’t know how to fix it now, I haven’t tried in fear of losing some. Most are in an album at Photobucket though!

  • #47233  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:38 am

Glo is about to come on board, maybe! You and I, Ms. Glo, posted the same idea on the MT at the exact same time :D

  • #47232  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:36 am

Yes, I live in a semi-rural area, really. It’s not quite country, but it’s not the big city.

  • #47231  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:35 am

Oh, I knew I wanted to tell you something. If you get a picture on the net, just press control & C, and then go to your ‘my pictures’ folder (if you are using word). Now hit control & V and it will paste the picture into your my pictures file. You can also create folders in your my pictures file to better control things. You can also use the edit button instead of control plus…

When you write your blog entry there is a button to upload your pictures. It will browse, direct it towards your my pictures and select the image.

    Wallah, I hope!

  • #47230  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:33 am

I saw your new pictures already. It is a very different looking landscape there. I am so used to all the large trees and Mountains!

  • #47229  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:31 am

35 visits already? I better write something!! At least it is easier to write on this blog because you can save a draft! I have a few ideas, but my head is still muggy from my meds. I want to learn more about how to get my picture off the internet and also have a few of my own I need to organize!

  • #47228  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:29 am

I don’t really have that much fun, fantasy :| I should have more.

Once the circadian cycle gets disrupted, it is hard to get it back into ‘normal’ time again.

  • #47227  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:27 am

Oh, fantasy, I also meant to say, I added more photos to that post you read about the rice fields being planted, and that I visited your postless blog! You had 35 visitors already! ♥ :P

  • #47226  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:26 am

I ♥ You Rose, So much fun you have!

I am doing o.k., I have been up since 3:30 when Hubby left, couldn’t sleep. Old habits.

How are you? On a little time off I see?

  • #47225  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:24 am

  • #47224  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:23 am

ROFLMAO fantasy, and just let me pat down my ‘fro. I gotta say, I always had trouble with my wild and wooly hair as a child.

I hope you got my comment.

I think this is a note for ‘glo. She’ll be able to count the exact distance between letters from one colour use to the next…

  • #47223  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:22 am

I hope I did not miss you Rose ♥

    I will be lurking.

Did I offend you? You aren’t Richard Simmon’s are you???? 8O

    Hi Rose :D

Well, I guess you could be? Just like Wade I still don’t know what he does? He is not a fighter pilot though!

  • #47222  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:20 am

Wade and I were joshing over Godspell, Fantasy, so don’t worry.

  • #47221  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:19 am

Hey Fantasy - I was just commenting on main. I know he is as camp as a row of tents, or appears to be so, but at least he isn’t terribly intimidating. However, I can also take the piss out of him, and I do understand what you are saying.

The physical and mental have long been separated in our societies. Tell me, how are you feeling?

And regards commenting, only comment when you feel like it, though I love seeing them ♥

  • #47220  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:13 am

I hope I have not waundered and missed you Rose?

Richard Simmon’s was very popular here and you still see him once in a blue moon on t v,but for some reason he makes me want to wrinkle my nose and say eeeww!

I should be greatful that he did get a bunch of people moving and thinking and he is a very compasionate man.

  • #47219  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 8:08 am

Oh goody O love to read blogs, I do comment now unless I get writer’s block! Over comments? heehee

I now see the reference to Godspell.
Hope I didn’t hurt your feeling on that. It is so maddening when you tell someone what you do and they actually say “like Richard Simmons?”
AAAARRGGGHHHH!!! You understand don’t you?

  • #47218  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 8:02 am

Hi Fantasy, doll. I hope I have not missed you. Yet, Richard Simmons was pretty popular in Oz. I think they are crosses glittering on the sides of his jumpsuit??? (just continuing the Godspell theme).

How are you most dearest? I’ve been dreaming up a few blog entries for you.

  • #47217  fantasy on May 5, 2008 at 7:58 am

    Good Morning Rose ♥

How are you this Evening? I hope all is fine and I have not missed you?

That Richard Simmons made all of US in the exercice field look like morons!

What a sight, at least we know “everybody is loved by him not visa versa really!”

Thanks, (((Tall man Wade))). You have a not-too-stressful day, too. I’m having trouble opening this wine as my hands are clasped in prayer.

I am wondering if zombieblanco is more human than a human ? If she backreads, she may be able to tell us when she comes in.

‘Glo has today off, I think, so hopefully she is sleeping. And the pleasure is all mine, in regards to conversation ♥

  • #47209  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 7:39 am

ah, I’m glad that Jesus had life after Godspell. ALW? maybe I will be abel (hee-hee) to figure it out.

Apropos of nothing, there comes a point in every woman’s life when she has to decide whether it is worth keeping the bottle of white wine in the fridge if she is going to top up her glass in the next 5 minutes, or not (not does not refer to topping up).

    thanks wade, for comment below.

that (#47205) is beautifully put, rose ♥

  • #47207  Wade on May 5, 2008 at 7:37 am

    LOL on ALW, rose

i never said the lyric made sense, just that it involved a pebble

  • #47206  Wade on May 5, 2008 at 7:35 am

    ROFL, rose

i would hate to think of richard simmons singing anything… though he probably inspired the hair style

and sadly, i remember that series :D

actually, godspell jesus (victor garber) went on to be a sleazy law professor (legally blonde) and a fatherly assassin (alias) 8O

  • #47205  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 7:33 am

yes, wade, a very erudite turn page (not to be confused with turncoat, or truculent). now what is the sound of one hand clapping? for me, I have the answer, though no one believes it, it is two hands held together in prayer… ♥ (or thanks, or whatever you want to call it).

  • #47204  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 7:30 am

Not to mention Old King Cole - last statement edited.

  • #47203  Wade on May 5, 2008 at 7:30 am

well, that was the most highbrow page turn i have made in tmhq :P

  • #47202  park rose on May 5, 2008 at 7:28 am

Oh ye of carefully chosen words :D

Don’t think of me in regards to ikebana. I was always terrified every time I tried it. The careful placement of the iris and so. I’m not a terribly good student. Tea ceremony is torture on the knees, but interesting enough.

I like the taiko - bit of blood stirring in that.

You lived through interesting times, in regards to Godspell, Wade :)

Am I totally wrong in thinking that Richard (Simpson?), the exercise guru, had something to do with this song ?

And my point is that Jesus (of the Godspell variety) branched out. But all is based on shaky supposition.

Oh, and  on Dare. Only the 70s or the 60s or Andrew Lloyd Webber could come up with such a lyric - wheres’s Nat King Cole and Cole Porter when you need them?

  • #47201  Wade on May 5, 2008 at 7:21 am

it is interesting how the concept of wabi-sabi is incorporated into the japanese arts and ceremonies we are most familiar with in the west

    bonsai, tea ceremony, zen gardens

there was an ikebana workshop at the national arboretum in dc earlier this year. i thought about you, rose, every time i drove by the sign advertising it. ;)
