True, the absolute most important thing is to get Gwenn an absolute kickass one and then write something really touching on it. All the rest is just noise. Except your sister, she should get one where you tell her something really touching too, or admit to something you did bad to her as a kid and she never knew about.

crash - sounds like most of the cockers i have encountered - as wade said, they tend to yap and nip. and lose bowel/bladder control anytime they get nervous, which seems to be all of the time
if Daisy is around you enough she may settle down, but being in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people is probably pretty rough for her.
