Crash, I have been riding on the back of a 2001 Honda 1100 Spirit, purple. I think I have that right. I don’t have a lot of memory for vehicle names. The driver is The Motorcycle, who I have been seeing for a couple of months now. He just got a dog from the Humane Society, and I love her. LOVE HER. That’s the recap.

You’re making me nostalgic, now, Wade. I will have to go back and read them again from the beginning. I still think the scene in book one when she totally out-argues the Baconite who comes evangelizing to her door is one of the best things I’ve ever read.
Crash, it would be impossible to explain. Wade is referring to a book I recommended to him.
I am having difficulty typing. I blame this on my 5 or so hours of sleep last night on top of the 200+ miles of driving, not the BEER.

that’s so funny I didn’t grow up here, grew up in soCal, and I have a really vivid memory of driving through eureka when I was twelve and it just smelled sooooo bad. Mountian liion, hah. Used to be a place in norhtern mendo that had big cats that were used in commericaials, (cougar cars…), maybe they were visiting.

i have a very vivid memory of eureka from my childhood
we were traveling through, moving from SF to tacoma and stopped there for lunch. we walked past a car, and sunning itself in the back windshield was a mountain lion with a collar
it saw us, and put back its ears and snarled

So, thinking back on my old RobThomas-esque friend, I decided to see what he’s been up too, so I MySpaced him and found he has self-published a novel for sale at Amazon described as: a provocative novel that hovers between humorous circumstance and explicit sexuality, between New York City and Paris. It is a humane account of trying to live on your own terms. It is also a love story. Yep, he hasn’t changed much.

glo, I actually hear that quite a bit here. They like to play it on the Classic Rock station (the Santana connection) and also on the Lite Rock and the Mix station. It’s kinda universal. But I hear ALOT of songs that you wouldn’t think I would hear often. Like Tainted Love… I heard Hungry Like the Wolf the other day…. must be your market that you live in!
That is why God invented YouTube. So we can hear the songs we want when we want.
